Weather and Stream Conditions Forecast - Coming Week
In a nut shell, the forecast isn't good.
I've had it. I'm changing my way of describing the forecast.
Today, there's a fifty percent chance it won't rain. The high will be about 84 in Gatlinburg.
The chances for it not raining improve for Tuesday. There's a 60% chance there will not be any showers or
I better get back to the normal way of describing the forecast. Wednesday, Showers and thunderstorms are
likely. The high will be near 80. That's cold for July. The same forecast continues into Wednesday night.
On the 4th of July, Independence Day, showers and thunderstorms are still likely with the odds running about
Friday gets back to today's forecast. There's a 50 percent chance we won't have any showers or
thunderstorms. The high will remain a cold 80 degrees.
Friday, the odds drop back down to a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
If the forecast is right (that's like hoping I'm going to win the lottery) the conditions for the weekend will get a
little better. There's only a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. Sunday gets even
better. There's only a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The high temperature will remain a
cool 84 degrees.
Where you fish will greatly depend on where it rains the least. Right now, conditions are back to almost good.
Most of the streams are running a little on the high side of good levels but much, much better than they have
been in the last few days.
