Fontana Village Resort is located in the Nantahala Forest of western North Carolina, a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It’s near Fontana and Cheoah lakes.
The Village has a wide range of accommodations, including the lodge, suites, cabins, houseboats on Fontana Lake, and camping facilities on Cheoah Lake. It also has restaurants, outfitters, day spa, pools, a marina, bike shop, horseback riding and miles of trails suitable for biking and hiking.
If you’re planning on fishing Hazel Creek, one of the best streams in the park, or the smaller Eagle or Forney Creeks, then you should consider staying at Fontana Village Resort. These streams are accessed from Fontana Lake.
