Fly Fishing Strategies and Weather/Stream Conditions Update
First a Squirrel Update:
All we know so far regarding the big squirrel hunt, is the squirrel isn't in our bedroom or
bath. We haven't left the door open a second longer than it takes to get through it.
That only leaves about 3000 square feet of space Mr. or Mrs. squirrel has to hide in.

The Christmas stores in Pigeon Forge will be full of women shopping in short, shorts
today. It was 65 degrees outside when i woke up this morning.

There is a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms today and a 100% tomorrow.
The chances Saturday are only 30% but to my surprise, the chances Saturday night
through Sunday are back up to 80%. I guess that means about the only day it isn't
going to rain is Saturday. Since my Monday's weather outlook report and Tuesday's
fishing strategies report, there has definitely been an increase the chances of rain. By
the way, I predicted that.

Quite frankly, the chances of rain is a little on the scary side, meaning the streams
could get blown out. That written, it is also a fact the weather websites strongly
disagree as to the amount of rain we will get in the Smokies. To be honest, I don't think
anyone knows. It will be a wait and see thing. I say fish and fish hard until you can no
longer see your fly.  Right now, the stream levels in the Smokies are all about normal
for this time of the year.

I think the chances are good that you may see a few BWO duns during the next few
days. The conditions are good for that to happen. Stick with the strategies I suggested
on Tuesday.
