Fly Fishing Strategies and Weather/Stream Conditions Update
The streams are still all very low. There doesn't appear to be much change in that
respect. There  will be a chance of some more rain on Friday but the are showing
only a 30% chance for showers and not anticipating much from it. It should mostly
just help the fishing conditions by being cloudy and maybe, adding a little water to
some of the streams

The forecast is about the same as it was on Monday. It will  be in the fifties in the low
elevations tomorrow and Friday with lows down to about freezing for the next couple
of nights. The low Friday night in Gatlinburg will be 43, which will help the streams
warm up a little faster on Saturday.

Saturday's high will be about 66 and a low that night of only 53. Saturday should be
an excellent day to fish. Sunday will be  about the same except some rain may fall
before the day ends. There's a 60% chance Sunday afternoon and a 70% chance
that Sunday night.

There is still a little snow in the highest elevations and the melting of it will tend to
lower the stream temperatures a tad. I think for the most part, this will only have a
very slight effect on Little Pigeon River and Oconaluftee which are in the watershed
of the highest elevations. I doubt  there will be much effect from it anywhere else.

This  is an excellent forecast for fishing this weekend. I don't think it could be much
better for mid November. II think Tuesday's recommended strategies is still on target.
I hope everyone has an opportunity to fish this weekend. It won't get much better
than this until next year.
