Weather and Stream Conditions Forecast - Coming Week
In a nutshell, it looks like it is going to remain hot during the day through Thursday but
if the long range forecast is accurate, much cooler air will prevail over the Smokies
Friday and this coming weekend. The streams are currently in excellent condition and
again, if the forecast is accurate, there will be a 40% chance of showers and
thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday, meaning just enough rain to keep them in
great shape.

I could end this report with the above paragraph but here's some more detailed
information based on the forecast for Gatlinburg:

Today and tomorrow will be sunny, with a high near 88. Nightly lows will be a nice, cool
67.

As mentioned above, there will be a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms
for Wednesday and Thursday with a high both days near 86.

Friday's chance of rain drops to 20 percent but with a much better high temperature of
only 79. The low Friday night should be around 58 degrees.

Saturday will be sunny with a high near 76 and a low that night of 58. Sunday's high
will only be about 77.

Serious anglers should pack their bags and head this way for this weekend.
Forgive
the double negatives and other abuse of the King's language, but
IT DON'T GET NO BETTER THAN THIS.
