Steelhead, Steelhead, Steelhead
Anglers are chasing big three foot long nomadic rainbow trout these days as well as big brown
trout trying to raise some kids. Salmon are laying eggs faster than chickens in an Arkansas
commercial hen house and the steelhead are eating them - the salmon eggs that is - as fast as our
women can tie our fake eggs. They are so realistic I caught Angie frying some up for my breakfast
this morning. Our phones are ringing and our web store is flashing with west coast and Great Lake
orders for steelhead flies so fast I'm thinking about retiring so I can fish. If Angie complains, well, I'll
just have to play her the Brad Pasley
"I'm Gonna Miss Her" song.

I got in from a trip late last night and can't think of anything else to write about other that I'm
already running late today. I lost my buddy Chris about the same time he lost his mind and started
fishing for steelhead with a cane pole. He finally caught one on the Oswego River last week.
