A Few Short Notes About Much of Nothing
I just had my main computer that I do website work on go down yesterday, so I am
running late. I had to completely download this entire website on this computer from
Yahoo (which took 5 hours) in order to add anything. This is my newest, meanest
machine that I don't like connecting to the Internet to avoid the chance of it catching a
virus or worse, a bacterial infection. Well, I made the later part up because it just
occurred to me that computers don't get bacterial infections like humans, or at least I
don't think they do.

I'll take the other computer (I only use 4) to the repair shop tomorrow. At my heart
doctor appointment at UT Hospital a couple of weeks ago, the nurse said her husband
did computer repairs. She mentioned that when she couldn't get the one in the
Doctor's office working right. I took down her husbands business number and intend
to try him for a change. None of the other local companies that I have tried worked
out. I try to fix them myself and usually can but this most recent problem has me
baffled. I think it may have a corrupted C drive. That's like a computer heart failure.

What does this have to do with fly fishing the Smokies? Nothing, except it means your
not getting much valuable information from me today. Just think of the problems I
would have writing each of you a personal USPS letter every day, seven days a week.
Well, they don't work on Sundays and are about to quit working Saturdays, so that
wouldn't work at all.

My Weather Forecast:
Since computer problems have me brainwashed today, I may as well go crazy and
make up my own weather forecast. I know the true, official meteorologist are calling for
rain starting Tuesday and lasting for a couple or three days, but none of them are as
brave as I. I say it is going to rain a bunch. I say it could rain a ton. They say Florida is
getting four inches and more from a northward moving tropical type of depression and
i say it will expand into the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park, ruin the
leave lookers vacations, and dingy up the water to the point you could catch a big
brown trout on a green weenie.

By the way, the wind was suppose to die by tomorrow morning and bring us a nice
Monday and now they are saying it will gust to as high as 25MPH. Okay, that's fine
with me. I'll be headed to Knoxville to the computer repair shop anyway. If they can be
that far off on their forecast, change it every few hours then so can I.
It is going to
rain a lot this week.
